the treachery of buttons
exploring ‘physical minimalisation’ and meaningless convenience in interactivity

An animated research concept which could potentially go on forever, this dry-humoured film describes the physical abstraction and minimalisation of our experience of the world through technology and the action of pressing a button.
The same physical action produces an infinie number of outcomes, but why does it have to be like this? Are we neglecting an entire area, and entire dimension of interaction in favour of meaningless convenience? Where's the fun in such blind functionality (and don't say it's in the first three letters).
