Hourglass – playing on semiotic connotations and the Slow Food movement. The glass has the form of an hourglass to emphasis the quality time spent around a table with friends or family, and is also easy to grip and more stable.

Legless Table – The table makes it difficult to unnecessarily leave the table before others have finished - dining becomes an agreement between everyone, and joining in is mediated by the object.
