RED blog

pulling together a wealth of projects and keeping the community vibrant

Designing and launching the RED blog was a chance to get to grips with some finer html and content management system skills, but also a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the team I had recently joined and their project history.

The site has a multitude of functions and a large and very varied readership, and needed simplification for both the visitors and the team that would be posting new items to it as projects developed.

It also needed to urgently take stock of all the work produced so far, from films to artcicles and policy documents, as only a few months after joining the team, they announced they would be leaving the Design Council to pursue a private venture, co-designing future public services.
